Program Overview

The Mentors & Ambassadors program exists to help people become highly serviceable to God and His children.  To accomplish this it focuses on the doctrines, principles, and applications of Christlike Leadership.  Everything that a mentor and ambassador does is circled around providing others with the best experiences possible to return to their Heavenly Father.  
A student mentor is a trusted adviser, teacher, and friend.  A student ambassador is one who has been given charge of representing LDS Business College at all times, in all things, and in all places by what they say and do.  A mentor and ambassador is an exemplary student, has a positive attitude, and is one who has a love for the Lord, the College, learning, and their fellowman.  An authorized student mentor and ambassador takes a voluntary, solemn responsibility to serve as the Savior did in important and significant ways.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.  John 13: 34-35
A mentor and ambassador offers appropriate support, counsel, guidance, strength, and friendship to those he or she mentors.  They are a representative of the Lord, Jesus Christ, His church, and LDS Business College; their life, conduct, and character reflect such.  Contact with a mentor and ambassador may be as much or as little as a student prefers.
Prospective mentors and ambassadors must have been enrolled at LDS Business College for at least one semester prior to application.  The application process must be complete prior to acceptance into the program.  This process includes, but is not limited to: an ecclesiastical endorsement, character reference, academic reference, written application, and a written letter of intent.
We are confident that as mentors and ambassadors enlist in the quest to serve as the Savior of the world, greater joy, peace, satisfaction, and love will pour from Heaven into their lives and into the lives of those they serve.  Those who strive to activate the meaning of Mentors & Ambassadors in their lives will be "filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ...we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is."  Moroni 7:48
