LDSBC’s Winter 2013 Career Development Conference days will be held on two consecutive days Wednesday February 27 and Thursday February 28, 2013.
Both days will host the same workshops, allowing students to attend as many sessions as possible. These career-related workshops and activities will replace regularly scheduled daytime and evening classes, beginning at 7:40 a.m. and concluding 8:30 p.m.
Successful professionals will be volunteering their time and talents to provide 3 keynote addresses and a variety of career preparation and professional development workshops, designed to give students a powerful advantage in the marketplace. It will also offer opportunities for students to:
- Increase their marketability by exploring multiple majors
- Participate in a résumé, cover letter, and thank you letter screening experience
- Prepare powerful answers to potential job interview questions.
