An international student is eligible to work on-campus at the beginning of his/her first semester.
On-campus jobs are listed at the Career & Employment Services Office. No international student may begin any employment without authorization from the ISO. An international student may not work more than 20 hours a week while school is in session. During approved annual vacation periods and semester breaks, an international student may work more than 20 hours a week. An international student is not allowed to work off campus without formal authorization from the ISO and only under certain conditions. Unauthorized employment will result in the termination of the international student’s I-20.
