Commuting to class just got a whole lot easier. Thanks to our formal partnership with Utah Transit Authority (UTA), LDSBC students are now eligible to receive a free UTA Transit Pass. This means that you have access to all UTA services, including bus lines, FrontRunner, and TRAX, for free! If you are enrolled for classes this semester, you qualify for this tremendous savings.
Save money, reduce pollution, and avoid parking snafus by taking the bus or train to school. Plus, master your homework on the commute.
How it works.
Your new Transit Pass will enable you to “tap on / tap off” whenever you ride UTA Trax, light rail, FrontRunner, or buses (excluding ski service routes, Paratransit, and Flextrans service.)
Ready to start riding?
Beginning September 14th, all students will need to pick up an updated ID Badge, which will double as their UTA Transit Pass. These badges will be available on the second floor at the kiosk by the registration office. New students will also need to get their badge photo taken.
Your student transit pass will remain active until you graduate OR until you do not enroll in classes for three consecutive semesters. It will be deactivated on your third semester of inactivity.
